Make a decision!
Imagine this: A hungry and thirsty donkey finds himself in the most absurd dilemma of his life.
To his right is a pile of lush hay and to his left a bucket full of fresh water. The donkey is standing right in the middle. Because he can't decide what to do, the stupid animal ends up starving to death.
The philosophical parable is named after Jean Buridan, who lived in the 13th century.
If you think, how can anyone be so stupid, then ask yourself whether you have often found yourself in a similar situation. Maybe not between hay and water, but between two jobs or whether or not to pursue a long life ambition.
We want to decide as “perfectly” as possible and end up making no decision at all.
It is as tragic as it is absurd: the donkey dies of hunger and thirst, yet everything it needs to survive is there.
Indecision, fueled by the fear of making the wrong decision, can paralyze you just as much as our four-legged friend.
The moral is clear:
Don't wait for yourself to make a “perfect” decision. Sometimes any decision is better than none.
So the next time you have to choose between two options, think of our friend the donkey.
Make a decision and move. And the truth is, you can't make a wrong decision.
Because it's true:
No decision is also a decision
There is neither right nor wrong.
Every decision and non-decision has its consequences
Every person can make a new decision at any moment. You can ALWAYS make a decision.
My tip: Choose life, choose yoga and naked yoga. Choose true happiness and contentment from your own cultivation. You will find the soil for this within yourself.
I will help you with this.
